my zara jumper, and the treasure of dawn

The snow crawls beneath the windowsill. Heavy boots imprint the snowbound land. 

Smells of firewood in the air. And the moon rises early.

I'm drinking coffee at dusk when the summer says it's dawn.

The sky of December is awfully deceiving.

 

As the early moon welcomes December.  Laborious school work welcomes my frown. 

If only the clock ticked longer, and the week delivered more days.

If only dawn wasn't missed, and the dusk didn't come too soon,

If only I could catch time and place it in a cookie jar..

((I'd never go hungry for more hours))

If I had more time, I'd spend it drinking hot soup. 

I'd listen more. I'd kiss more. I'd recite stranger/longer poetry,

and I'd post more frequently on flyingakite !!

It's weeks like this that knock me dead.

and make me miss the Summer.

Although, I miss the solar summer. It's not because it's warmth.

I miss the length of summer dawn, and falling into bed with it's light

Today was warm

 Even among the snowy land, It was warm enough to wear my treasured Zara jumper.  This jumpsuit was founded two years ago.  In that same year, I wore it habitually

Somehow it slipped through the window of my closet, and hid

  itself in dust.

 Much love is sent to my Mom.  

To my delight, she polished the mess of my room, and made friends out of closets and hangers.   

because of her,  me and my jumper are together again
