me and my cinnamon cape!*

Good day song birds, and quiet lambs.. It's a beautiful day for breath. The sky has no hue, only reflections of  incident light.  The clouds are spilling baby snow onto the hillsides, pavement, and steeples.      The snow flakes are rendering the world beautiful...  And I'm feeling thankful for these heart beats..

For my belly, I'm having a banana sprinkled in brown sugar, and a cup of hazelnut coffee.

For my ears, I'm listening to Bon Iver "and here we are rebuilding roads, right by roosting towns.

it's just like the love -the one that's never been enough...."

For my eyes, I'm pondering one slumber nap.

I'm sleepy, but I'm happy.

I've got hazelnut coffee filling my senses, and snowflakes dancing on my cinnamon cape. During this photo shoot, the winds of winter froze my legs, and tinted my skin pink. When I spoke, or sang to the naked trees,  gauzy clouds formed.  This photo shoot belongs to the top ten of my favorite photo shoots.  It may have been cold, but my spirits felt warm... and I danced... and sang.. and laughed my way through the pictures. I'm also wearing one of my favorite articles of clothing. My cinnamon cape, found in Value village for less than $5  Hopefully it can remind you of sweet cinnamon flavors..      

Today is precious. Just as yesterday was, just as tomorrow will be. Precious for the breathings, and sounds, and feelings, and sights.  Just for the sun to rise, and the snow to crawl, just to feel wakefulness makes all of our days precious... Today is sunday, the last sunday my heart will beat through a 17 year old's body.

By law, it is the last day my feet will walk as a child.. 

Tomorrow is my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Exclamation marks express my enthusiasm )

My eighteenth birthday! The year that I grow wings. The year I walk alone, sign my own name, pay my own fare, drink my own drink.. I'm setting my alarm for 7 am, dressing in flowers, curling my hair, painting my lips bubblegum pink, and walking out the door happy.

All day, I will be eating sweets, like caramel corn and apple pie. Hopefully from the over-consumption of sweet things, I'll be able to be just as sweet... keeping spoiled birthday girl at bay..

In an attempt to make a Merry Christmas video for my followers, I ended up just taking silly videos for you...they belong to the bottom of this post.. I hope you enjoy them despite my awkwardness in front of video-cameras, I'm much more a photo-camera kind of gal...

Now I'm off to look at the December catalogs of my favorite online stores... I'm inspired to look at fabrics, and structures, and cloth, and outfits... all while secretly adding to my birthday/christmas wishlist........
