turned the wind to gravel roads

I'm Amy. I like coffee. Two cups a day. Sprinkle some sugar, and caramel creme. Give me a notebook, and I'll write a poem while admiring the leaves being blown onto a dead quiet street. It's a nice life.



My inner working parts are rooted in the sunlight. Winter's chills come and dry my skin, but I am glad they do not dry my mood. If I'm sad, the battle is never from the weather. If I'm happy, it's not because the sun is shining.

How can I let the weather lead the way I feel? If I did. I'd be moody. I'd go from crying, to throwing ice, to smiling. I'd be one temperamental mammal. I'm sure my family would hate me, and I wouldn't know the word friends.

My heads in the right direction. I'm feeling worthy. I can't think of a better way to feel. Sure, there's feeling content, satisfied, beautiful, blah blah blah.. But what's the point of it all if you don't feel worthy? I see a good life when I wake up, and a good day when I go to bed... and in between it all, I feel worthiness.

My goal in life is to never become just a piece of traffic, just a body caught in the mist. There's more to being human than that. There's existing. And existing keeps me awake at night. I need to be lively. Living with the curtains open, the doors unlocked.

I think to really feel, we need love's departure, to really think, we need writers block, to really know, we need questions, and to really live we need to scare ourselves. It's like this, you know the heart rate before a car accident? The accident that never happens, you drive away, and realize all that was between you and your parting was a steering wheel. We need these moments. They scare me, they scare you, but don't they ultimately remind us of our preciousness? We're precious kind of people

The weathers ch-h-h-h-anging. Doors are knocking brrbrrruurr........and there's me. I'm wearing a yellow, floral, sundress. The flowers in the baskets have died. But my floral sundress lives all year long! Annnnnnnnd I ainnnnnnnnt cold
